 ement of Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) with T
 he At Work Partnership’s intensive two-day Certifi
 cate in HAVS course\, led by consultant in occupat
 ional medicine\, and a leading expert in hand–arm 
 vibration syndrome\, Dr Roger Cooke.</p>\n \n <p>D
 esigned specifically for occupational health profe
 ssionals\, this comprehensive programme provides a
  thorough understanding of health surveillance req
 uirements for workers exposed to hand-transmitted 
 vibration. Delegates will also explore best practi
 ce in the assessment\, diagnosis and ongoing manag
 ement of individuals affected by HAVS.</p>\n \n <p
 >Through expert-led learning and practical insight
 s\, delegates will gain an in-depth understanding 
 of the condition and the pivotal role occupational
  health plays in protecting workers and managing v
 ibration-related risks in the workplace. </p>\n \n
  <p>Over two days\, you will learn all aspects of 
 the syllabus for HAVS competence as defined by the
  FOM including:</p>\n \n <p>- Basic Principles<br 
 />\n - Legal background <br />\n - Workplace asses
 sment <br />\n - Health surveillance and clinical 
 assessment <br />\n - Occupational health action a
 nd advice</p>\n \n <p><br />\n The course will pro
 vide a comprehensive understanding of HAVS and the
  role of OH\, enabling qualified OH professionals 
 to clinically assess HAVS-related conditions and t
 o undertake health surveillance. The FOM examinati
 on will take place at the end of day 2 of the cour
